Wine Tasting Dinner Menu

Arrival

Tempura Shrimp with mango-pineapple slaw, scallions, and sweet chili sauce in a parmesan cup

Kendall Jackson Avant Chardonnay
This 100% stainless steel Chardonnay is cold fermented in stainless steel tanks to create a pure expression of this exceptional grape. Monterey County contributes lemony citrus and mineral notes. Santa Barbara County delivers a dash of fresh pineapple flavors. Mendocino County adds juicy green apple flavors.

First Course

Frisée Salad topped with lemon-garlic-thyme chicken thighs, candied cashews, goat cheese crostini with blueberry-lemon vinaigrette

WillaKenzie Estate Chardonnay – Willamette Valley, OR
This white wine is vibrant and precise with aromas of citrus, chamomile, and pear. Mid-palate roundness is followed by bright acidity and a lengthy finish.

Second Course

Blacked Salmon stuffed with cream cheese, spinach, and prosciutto with chimichurri beurre blanc, sauteed asparagus, julienne red and green peppers

La Crema Monterey Chardonnay – Monterey, CA
This juicy white wine displays a wonderful array of fruits, with Meyer Lemon, passionfruit, and grilled pineapple. These flavors are complimented by a touch of spice and minerality on the palate. The Monterey growing region is known for being one of California’s coolest growing regions with an ever-present breeze and maritime influence from the Pacific Ocean. Monterey’s unique geography and climate allows grapes to spend more time on the vine producing fruit with complex and balanced flavors.

Third Course

Bacon Wrapped Scallops over creamy dill bucatini pasta with cherry tomatoes, butternut squash and white onion diced, roasted and sautéed. Topped with turmeric crostini.

Hartford Court Chardonnay – Russian River Valley, CA
This rich Chardonnay offers subtle aromas of jasmine flower, citrus oil, green apple, and pear. The elegant aromatics are complemented by fresh kiwi, lemon drop and apple flavors. The fruit focused mid-palate is followed by subtle mineral notes and a hint of crystallized ginger in the finish.

Fourth Course

Rack of Lamb on a bed of fontina purple mash with sage red wine demi and bacon balsamic brussel sprouts

Gran Moraine Pinot Noir – Willamette Valley, OR
This red wine offers aromas of dark cherries, rose, and earth. The palate opens with notes of red fruit and mineral, accentuated by firm acidity and a generous mid-palate.

Fifth Course

German Chocolate Cake with dark chocolate mousse. Dusted with espresso and topped with candied coffee pecans

Mt. Brave Cabernet Sauvignon – California North Coast, Mount Veeder, Napa
This red wine showcases aromas of seamless black and blue fruits, with secondary notes of dark chocolate and licorice. Power and opulence in harmony with a finessed texture for a long, balanced finish.
